• Roughly how many rooms there are
• Whether you are already packed

You can give us this by phone, through the quote form, in a scheduled video tour, or by uploading photos or a video of your inventory. The photos and the video are the fastest, since we can see the job without a visit.

The same service, only sooner

A short-notice move is not a smaller service. You still get blankets and shrink wrap on your furniture, floor, corner and hallway protection, glass items in separate boxes, essential furniture taken apart and put back together, and all transportation, gas and tolls included. Not packed yet?

Our last-minute packing service is there for you. Lamps go in lamp boxes, flat-screen TVs have their own procedure, mirrors, artwork and glass are boxed and the hanging clothes go into wardrobe boxes. Tell us on the phone how much is left to do and we plan around it.

How to use the time you have

• Start with the essentials: documents, medications, chargers, and valuables, and keep them with you
• Take photos of the big pieces and the route out of the building
• Check whether either building requires a certificate of insurance, and tell us right away
• Strip the beds and empty the drawers you can, then leave the heavy lifting to the crew

What a quote call sounds like

It is short and practical. We ask where you are moving from and to, which floors, how many rooms and whether you are packed. We tell you what the move involves and what we can do on your dates. If you would rather show us than explain, send photos or a video of the rooms, or book a video tour, and we work from what we see.

We do not need a long email. A phone call, or a handful of photos, is usually all it takes to get the move moving.

If the new place is not ready

Sometimes the problem is the other end: the keys are late, or the space is not finished. In that case, ask us about storage. We pack your things, keep them in our climate-controlled, secure storage facilities, and deliver them to the new address when you are ready.

Coverage and payment

Basic coverage is free with every move and pays up to 60 cents a pound. If something is worth much more than that, ask about Full Value Protection before moving day. We take cash, bank checks, company checks, and major credit cards. Personal checks are not accepted.
