How the estimate works
The estimate is free. Our hourly rates are straightforward, and packing supplies are charged only if required and listed on your estimate. There are three ways to get it: fill out the form below, schedule a video tour, or attach photos or a video of your furniture.
The more we see, the more accurate the estimate. Photos or a short video of each room help, and so does telling us about walk-ups, elevator bookings and anything fragile.

Photos of your furniture
Upload pictures of your furniture with the form. A few clear shots of each room are plenty.
A short video
Upload a video if that is easier. It shows us the stairs, the doorways and how much is in each room.
A video tour
Choose the video walkthrough as the way to contact you, or schedule a video tour, and show us the place on camera.

What is included in a move
These are on every move, and none of them is an extra charge.
Wrapping
Packing and wrapping all furniture and items with shrink wrap and blankets.
Protection
Complete protection for floors, corners and hallways.
Transportation
All transportation, gas and tolls expenses are included.
Assembly
Disassembly and assembly of essential furniture pieces.
Glass items
All glass items go into separate boxes.
Packing supplies
Packing supplies are charged if required, and your estimate lists them. Long distance, fine art and storage moves include free packing supplies where it fits. Full packing and unpacking can be added to any move.
Why the final number can differ from the first one
An estimate is only as good as the list behind it. This is how the final charges are worked out.
It follows what moves
Final charges are based on the actual weight or volume of the property and the services provided, so a complete list at the start gives you a number you can plan around.
It follows the distance
The price is based on what you are moving and the distance traveled, and the quote itself is free.
Added items and services
If you add items or services, tell us at least 3 business days before pickup. Charges may go up if the weight or volume increases or extra services are needed.
Only what is on the truck
We reserve space for what is listed on the estimate, and you are only charged for the items actually picked up and moved.
The best way to avoid surprises on the day is to tell the estimator the number and size of the items you are moving.
