We run weekly service from New York to Florida and all points between, for households and for businesses. The move starts the way a local one does. Tell us the two addresses, the floor and the stairs at each end, and whether either building wants a certificate of insurance from the mover. Many New York buildings do, and we send what the building asks for.
Because the move crosses state lines, it is an interstate move under federal rules. That is why delivery comes with a window rather than an exact date, and why it helps to tell us early how flexible you can be at both ends. Ask about the window for your route when you get your quote.
Packing for a long move
On a long distance move, packing supplies are free and all transportation, gas and tolls are included. We plan every packing job and bring the materials each item needs, and TVs, lamps, electronics, mirrors, artwork, sculptures, glass and marble, and hanging clothes are always special-packed as part of our standard moving package.
You can have us pack the whole home, or only the kitchen and the fragile pieces, and we unpack at the other end. Packing that is not finished when the crew arrives is the most common reason a move runs long, so it is worth deciding early.
Storage, and piano and antique moving
Storage is dispatched from our Brooklyn and Tampa locations, so it works for a move down to Florida where the new place is not ready yet. Your things are double wrapped and kept in our climate-controlled, secure storage facilities until you are.
